  10. Kent Manske's large scale (up to 96 inches), digital prints are narratively sequenced pictographs from personal 
  11. language systems he has created. What first appears to be easily decipherable works, evolve into complex 
  12. language maps - stories of the human condition, stories of cognition and survival, stories of participation 
  13. in an increasingly complex society. Manske's work combines both digital and traditional printmaking 
  14. processes in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional constructions. His work has been exhibited 
  15. internationally. He teaches visual communication at Foothill College in Los Altos, California.
